Question: Is this an Internet real estate auction?

Answer:
No,  this is a genuine, live auction with a licensed auctioneer calling the sale.

Question: What kinds of property can I sell at auction?

Answer:
Any kind of real property can be sold at auction.

Question: How much will it cost to auction my property?

Answer:
You pay only $695.00 to place your property in the auction cycle!

Question: How soon will my property be auctioned?

Answer:
Properties can be sold in as little 30 days from being placed on our schedule.  
Depending on the property, we typically average 5 to 6 weeks to bring a property to auction.

Question: How does Specialty Auction Services get paid?

Answer:
We charge $695. to sell your property. That's it!

Question: What if the highest bid isn't high enough?

Answer:
There are two kinds of auctions, absolute and reserve. In a reserve auction, you are not
obligated to sell to the highest bidder if the reserve price is not met. You may however, negotiate
terms and price until an offer is acceptable!


Question: How soon will we close the property?

Answer:
The buyer is usually required to close the transaction within thirty or forty-five days of the
auction.

Question: How much money will I get on the day of the real estate auction?

Answer:
None, the deposit will be placed in the Specialty Auction Services real estate trust
account. All funds will be dispersed at closing.

Question: Who gets the down payment if closing does not occur.

Answer:
This is negotiable, but usually the Auctioneer and Seller will split forfeited funds 50%-50%.

Question: My property is currently listed with a real estate broker. Do I have to terminate
the listing in order to allow Specialty Auction Services to auction the property?

Answer:
No! We do not require a Seller to sign a listing agreement and our payment is a service
fee
for scheduling and holding the auction.  If a Seller does have a listing agreement with a Broker,
they will still be required to honor the agreement if the property sells. In addition, we will work with
your broker to maximize the chance of a successful sale at auction.
